Dogtrot House

Dogtrot is a house that uses specific textures and patterns to create uniqueness and individuality among different houses within a community. The house is divided into two sections, one that contains the living and sleeping areas of the house, and another that contains the kitchen area, separating the smells and heat of the kitchen from the rest of the home. A covered outdoor area between the two sections provides an outdoor area with a fireplace, which extends the living spaces into the outdoors. The dogtrot type of house coupled with 3D printed earthen construction creates the ideal building type for warm/hot climate living.
